Cosmik Fab Bharath LLP is set up in Apartment 101 at the Pramukha Apartment complex. It’s located in Bangalore South, in the 560078 zip code. It’s a bit unusual running a business out of an apartment building, but it works for what we need right now. It keeps things small and manageable. We use the space to handle our fabrics and talk to our suppliers. Since it’s a residential area, it’s a lot quieter than being right in the middle of a commercial market. We have to be careful not to make too much noise for the neighbors, so we mostly do our planning and clerical work here. It’s a cozy setup. We have samples tucked into corners and stacks of folders on the tables. Sometimes it feels a bit more like a home than an office, which isn’t a bad thing. We spend our days coordinating with the people who actually weave the cloth and the folks who buy it from us. It involves a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything, so you’d have to know which door to knock on. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a bit and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. It’s just a handful of us making sure the orders are correct and the quality is what it should be. We aren’t looking to move to a big glass office anytime soon because this place suits us just fine.
