We are Gilaula Farmers Producer Company Limited. Our office is located in Uttamapur, which is under the Dikauli post office in the Gilaula area of Shrawasti. We are based at Radhey Shyam Verma’s place. It’s a typical rural setup for a producer company. Most of us here are farmers ourselves. We work in the fields during the day and handle the company business when we have the time. Shrawasti is a quiet district, and we like it that way. Our group was formed so we could help each other out with the logistics of farming. It isn't always easy. We have to deal with the weather and the markets, which can be unpredictable. The office isn't much to look at, just a room where we keep our books and meet to talk about the next season. We don't have any fancy equipment or big logos on the walls. It’s just a place where local people come together. We know everyone in the village, so business is very personal for us. We handle the collection of crops and see where they need to go. We aren't trying to be a huge global company. We just want to make sure the farmers in Gilaula get a fair deal for their hard work. That’s what we do every day. We stay focused on our local crops and the community here in Uttamapur. It is simple but it works for us.
