Nav Ankurit Farmer Producer Companylimited is based out of the Ramjan area in Aggapur, which is part of Shrawasti. It is a pretty rural location, so it takes a bit of time to get here if you are coming from the main town. The surroundings are mostly fields and small houses, which is exactly where we need to be to work with the local farmers. Our office is a simple building that we have modified to fit our needs. It is not very large, but it has enough room for our small team to sit and discuss the day's plans. We usually start quite early in the morning when the air is still cool. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we are always wiping down the tables before we start work. We deal with seeds and farming supplies, so you will often find bags and samples sitting in the corners of the room. It is a very practical space without any decorations or fancy furniture. People from Aggapur stop by frequently to talk about the weather or how their plants are growing this year. We do not have a formal reception, so visitors just walk right in and pull up a chair. We spend a lot of time out of the office too, visiting the nearby farms to see things for ourselves. It is a quiet life in Shrawasti, and we are just happy to be doing this work here.
