This is a company made of farmers from Mihinpurwa in the Bahraich district. Harender Singh is the one who hosts us at his place in Gangapur. We started this because small farmers often get ignored by the big buyers. By coming together, we have a bit more weight when we talk to people. We focus on the crops that grow well in this part of Uttar Pradesh. It’s not a fancy operation. Most of the time, we are busy with our own plots of land. We meet up when we need to decide on things like buying seeds or where to send our produce this year. Bahraich has its own challenges with the weather, so we try to look out for one another. We don't have a big staff. It's just us farmers and maybe a couple of people to help with the books. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want a fair life for our families. The land here is good if you treat it right. We use what we’ve learned from our parents and grandparents over the years. If someone’s tractor breaks down, someone else helps out. That's the spirit of our group. We keep the paperwork simple. Harender keeps everything in order at his house. It’s a local effort, through and through. We just want to keep farming and stay independent as much as we can without too much trouble.
