Our company is Vaijnath Jyotirling Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located in Vaijapur, which is in the Hingoli district. The office is actually at Shri Hari Baliram’s place. It’s a local setup for the farmers in this part of Maharashtra. Hingoli-431513 is where we live and work. We don't have a big corporate building with a sign on top. It’s more about the people here in the village. We focus on the crops that grow well in this soil. Being a producer company means we try to pool our resources together so we can buy things cheaper and sell for more. It sounds simple but it’s actually quite hard to get everyone on the same page. We spend a lot of time sitting and talking. There is a lot of trust involved between the neighbors. We deal with the seeds, the fertilizers, and the harvesting schedules. Sometimes the rains are late and everyone is stressed. We try to help each other out during those times. It’s a community thing as much as a business. Shri Hari Baliram’s house is where we keep the ledger and the documents. People come by after they finish in the fields for the day. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. We just have our names and our reputation in Vaijapur. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time.
