Lokmauli Farmer Producer Company Ltd.

Our group, Lokmauli Farmer Producer Company, is situated in Tandulja, which is a small place in the Latur area. We got together because we realized that doing things on our own was getting harder every year. By joining up, we can handle our produce better and talk to buyers with a bit more weight behind us. It’s a lot of meetings under the shade or in our small office, trying to figure out the best way to move our crops. Everyone involved is a farmer first. We know what it's like when the rain doesn't come or when the prices drop for no reason. This company is our way of trying to take back a little control over our own lives. We aren't experts in business, but we know our land and what it grows. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, and we have to ask for help, but we're learning as we go. It’s a real community effort here in Tandulja. We share what we know and try to help each other out with seeds or tools when someone is short. It’s not about making a huge profit; it’s about making sure everyone can keep their farm going for another season. We just want to stay grounded and keep working for the local people who depend on the earth for their living. That is really the whole story of our little company.
