You can find us at Shop No. 43 inside the APMC Market Yard. We go by Abrar Bros. & Co., but most people just know us for the Kohinoor Brand Seeds. The market yard is always a bit of a chaotic place, especially early in the mornings when the trucks are coming in. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s where the business happens. We’ve been sitting in this shop for a long time. We sell seeds to farmers and wholesalers who come through. Our space is stacked high with bags of different varieties. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a working shop where we talk to customers, drink some tea, and weigh out orders. We know a lot of the regulars who’ve been buying from us for generations. Dealing with seeds means we’re always thinking about the seasons and the rain. If the weather is bad, things get slow. If it’s good, we’re running around all day. We don’t have a marketing department or anything. We just know our seeds and what works for the local soil. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My brothers and I handle the daily chores, from unloading deliveries to keeping the accounts. It’s a busy life in the market yard, and we’re just one part of the big machine here. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Just a seed shop in the middle of the market.
