We are situated at Gt No 152 in Vaijapur. Our group is known as Udyojak Shetkari Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s basically a bunch of us from the local area who decided we should probably work together instead of everyone doing their own thing. Vaijapur is a good place for farming, but it has its moments where things get difficult. Having this company allows us to pool our resources. We spend a lot of time at the site or out in the various fields around the taluka. It’s a practical operation. We don’t have fancy marketing or anything like that. We just focus on getting the crops grown and making sure they get to where they need to go. You might see us unloading trucks or checking on the storage area at the 152 plot. We’ve lived in Vaijapur all our lives, so we know most of the families around here. We started this because we wanted to see our community do better. It’s a lot of sweat and long hours, especially during the harvest season. Sometimes we’re up before the sun and don’t finish until late at night. That’s just how it is when you’re working with the land. We keep our records in a simple office and just try to stay on top of things as best we can. It's not a lot of talk, just a lot of doing.
