Over in Adul Bk, we’ve set up Tulshimala Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our base is at House No 5/40. We are just local farmers who have lived here forever. We know every corner of these fields. The group is just us getting together to make the farming business a bit easier. It’s hard to do everything yourself. Between the planting, the weeding, and trying to find buyers, there isn't much time left. By forming this group, we can share the load. We don’t have any fancy talk or big promises. We just grow our crops and try to do it well. The weather is always a gamble, and the prices at the market can be even worse. We meet at house 5/40 to discuss our plans for the next season. It’s a very informal thing, usually over some tea. We aren't trying to impress anyone with polished words. We are just honest people trying to make a living from the soil. Most of us have been farming since we were boys. We’ve seen the village change, but the work remains the same. It’s physical and it’s tiring, but there’s a sense of pride in it. We don’t have a marketing team. We just have our hands and our knowledge of the earth. We hope this company helps our community stay strong and keeps our farms productive for the years to come for all our families and children. That is our way.
