Our spot is at House Number 10 in Daigavan, which is in the Aurangabad district. Tobare Patil Farmer Producer Company Limited is mostly just us local folks trying to make things work. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where the land is. The office is really just a part of the house where we keep the records and meet when the sun is too high to be out in the dirt. We have a lot of long conversations about the crops and how the market is looking. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time talking than anything else, but that’s how decisions get made around here. The walls are a bit plain and the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they work fine for what we need. Aurangabad weather can be pretty dry, so we are always thinking about the water. Everyone in Daigavan knows each other, so there is always someone sticking their head in to say hello or ask for advice. We don't use any big words or complicated plans. We just look at what we have and try to figure out the best way to get the produce moved. It is hard work and the days are long, but having this group at House 10 makes it a bit easier for everyone involved. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every morning and evening.
