Swargiya Maruti Patil Farmer Producer Company Limited

Hanumantgaon is a quiet place and that is where we do our work. This company is named after Maruti Patil, and we run things out of Arun Gorahnath Hume’s house, number 142. Vaijapur is where we go when we need things from the town. Around here, everyone is a farmer. We spend our days checking on the crops and making sure the wells have enough water. It’s a tough life sometimes, especially when the monsoon is late. We aren't a polished business with a shiny website. We are just local people trying to help each other out. We pool our resources to buy seeds or rent a thresher when it's time. Sometimes the meetings at Arun's house get a bit loud because everyone has a different opinion on how to do things. But we usually figure it out. We don’t have a lot of extra money, so every bag of grain counts. We grow mostly traditional crops that our fathers grew before us. This company is just a way to keep those traditions alive while trying to survive in a changing world. We don't have fancy titles. I’m just a guy who works the fields like everyone else. We keep the bags stacked in the shed until they can be moved. It’s a lot of sweat and patience. There is no magic to it, just keeping at it every single day until the job is done.
