Suvanda Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is run out of G.No.188 in Pokhari, which is in the Vaijapur area. We are located right at Dadasaheb Bhausaheb Thube’s place. It’s a rural setting, surrounded by fields, which makes sense for what we do. The work here is pretty straightforward. We spend our time gathering the crops from the local growers and figuring out the best way to get them to the buyers. There isn't much in the way of decoration in our office. We have some calendars on the wall and a few old chairs for visitors. It’s usually quiet in the mornings, but by afternoon, the yard is full of tractors and people. We deal with a lot of different types of agro products, so the smells in the warehouse change depending on the season. Sometimes it’s onions, other times it’s grain. We have to be careful with the storage because the pests can be a problem if we aren’t watchful. Dadasaheb is usually around to oversee things, and he knows just about everyone in the Vaijapur district. We aren't looking to grow into some massive corporation; we just want to do a decent job for our neighbors in Pokhari. It’s hard work, especially when the weather isn't cooperating, but we just take it one day at a time. The paperwork is a chore we do in the evenings when things finally calm down.
