Surajyakrushi Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at Gut No 193 in Mahalgaon. We are right on the Vaijapur Road, which makes it easy for trucks to come and go throughout the day. Gorshnath Ghogre is the one who looks after things here. Being in Vaijapur, we are surrounded by fields on all sides. This company is all about the local farmers coming together to move our products. It’s a busy spot, especially during harvest time when there’s dust everywhere and people are constantly moving bags around the yard. We don't have a fancy office with a view, just a functional space where we keep the scales and the records. The floor is usually covered in a bit of grain or soil that someone tracked in on their boots. We spend a lot of time on our phones checking the market prices in different towns nearby. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important for the village. We talk to the drivers and the laborers every day. Sometimes we have to fix a machine or a leaky roof when it rains unexpectedly.
