Silvarakash Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Vaijapur, specifically at Mustafa Park. Our office is at Hono 3/1318 and we are based at Shaikh Hamid Husen Kureshi’s place. It’s a local neighborhood, so it feels more like a home than a corporate office. Being a farmer producer company, we are mostly made up of people from around here who know the land well. We spend a lot of time sitting in the office area discussing the different crops like cotton or maize that are grown in this part of the state. The Mustafa Park area is relatively quiet, which is nice for when we have to focus on our books. We have some old wooden chairs and a big table where we spread out all our papers. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours because everyone has a different opinion on how things should be done. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we just use what we have. It’s about getting the work done and helping the farmers get their produce to the market without too much trouble. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep ourselves going. It’s a small operation and we handle everything ourselves, from the filing to the heavy lifting. We like the fact that we are right here in the community where the work actually happens. It feels more personal that way.
