Shreesantnarayangiriji Farmer Producercompany Limited is based out of Gangapur in the Aurangabad area. Specifically, we are located at C/O Zumerbai Vithalrao Sirsath’s place in Mahatma Phule Nagar. It’s a local setup. We aren’t some big corporation from the city. Most of the people involved here are farmers who have lived in this part of Maharashtra their whole lives. We get together to manage our produce and try to get better results for everyone in the group. The office is a simple room where we keep our records and meet when we need to decide on things. It’s often dusty from the roads outside, and there’s always someone coming by to ask about fertilizer or market prices. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just do the work that needs doing every day. Sometimes we sit outside under the shade when the heat gets too much in the afternoon. Living in Aurangabad, you get used to the dry spells and the way the land works. We started this company because it's easier to handle the business side of farming when you aren't doing it all by yourself. It’s a straightforward operation. We keep track of the harvests and try to make sure things run as smoothly as they can.
