Being right there in the market yard in Aurangabad means we are in the middle of all the action every single day. It’s a loud, dusty place most of the time with trucks coming in and out and people shouting prices across the stalls. We set this up because we wanted a dedicated spot for our local farmers to bring their stuff and get it sorted out. We don't have a fancy office; it’s just a practical space where we can weigh the bags and settle the accounts for the day. Aurangabad weather can be pretty intense, so the market yard is always a hive of activity early in the morning before the heat gets too bad to work in. We are just local people who have been around farming our whole lives. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like we are from a big city because we aren't. We just know how to tell if a crop is good and what it should be worth on the open market. It’s a lot of long hours and some days are definitely better than others.
