We are located over at house number 52, which is quite close to the Khuldabadviramagaon area. Shivsangmeshwar Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us who decided to work together to handle our farming business better. It is a local operation through and through. You will usually find someone at the office near the main road, probably talking about the latest crop yields or the weather. We don't have any fancy receptionists or air-conditioned waiting rooms. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of talk about soil and markets. The area around here is busy with farming, so we stay pretty active throughout the year. Sometimes we have to head out to the fields ourselves to check on things, so the office might be quiet for an hour or two. We handle the logistics of getting produce from the farms to where it needs to go. It is tough work and the hours can be long, especially during harvest time. We keep our records by hand mostly, though we use the computer when we have to. It feels like a real community effort because everyone knows everyone else.
