We are located out in Ghaigaon, which is part of the Vaijapur area in Aurangabad. If you are looking for us, we are usually around Dilip Nikam’s place. Shiveshwaray Agro is not a fancy company with a big sign and a lobby. It is just a group of us farmers who decided that we should probably start working as one unit instead of fighting the market by ourselves. Farming around here can be hit or miss depending on the monsoon, and having a group behind you helps when things get lean. We spend our days mostly in the fields, checking on the crops and worrying about the pests. The company is just a way for us to get our stuff to the right places without getting cheated. We are learning as we go, honestly. None of us went to business school, we just know how to grow things and how to fix a tractor when it breaks down. Sometimes the paperwork is a headache, but we manage.
