Schools9.Com operates out of Disha Square near Sudgirni Chowk in Garkheda. It’s a busy part of Aurangabad and there’s always something happening right outside the door. Our office is mostly full of computers and cables running everywhere across the floor. Since we deal with a lot of exam results and school information, it’s usually a bit of a frantic atmosphere when a big announcement is coming out. We sit at our desks for long hours, clicking away and making sure the links are working. The chairs aren't the most comfortable in the world, and there’s always a stack of empty tea cups sitting on the corner table. People think running a website is all high-tech, but for us, it’s just a lot of typing and double-checking lists of names. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to take a break until it comes back. The windows look out over the chowk, and you can see the commuters rushing by all day long. It’s quite noisy with the horns honking outside. We aren't a big corporate firm with a glass lobby; it’s just a few rooms where we get the job done. Lunch is usually whatever we brought from home or something quick from a nearby stall. It’s a regular job, just focused on the digital side of things for students across the state. We stay late most nights when there’s a lot of data to enter.
