Riverdale High School

Riverdale is located out on the Beed By Pass, at Gut No 345. It’s a bit of a drive from the center of Aurangabad, but being out here gives us a bit more space. The school is a pretty large building sitting right off the main road. You can see it from a distance when you’re driving in. We’ve got students coming in from all over the city, so the morning bus arrivals are always a bit of a headache to manage. The wind can get quite strong out here on the bypass, and it blows a lot of dust into the classrooms if we leave the windows open. We’re just a regular high school trying to get through the syllabus every year. There’s nothing particularly flashy about our setup. We have the usual labs and classrooms, and the corridors are always full of kids rushing to their next period. The staff room is usually a mess of tea cups and half-graded papers. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy mottos. Most of our day is spent making sure the kids are in their seats and the bells ring on time. The location is convenient for people living on this side of Maharashtra. It’s a practical place, built for teaching and not much else. We deal with the traffic on the bypass every day, which is probably the biggest challenge of working here. It’s just a normal school life.
