Padmashri Shankar Bapu Apegoankar English School

Our school is located in the Garkheda area of Aurangabad. It is named after Padmashri Shankar Bapu Apegoankar English School, which is a very long name that everyone around here knows. We have been part of this neighborhood for a while now. The school building is tucked into a side street, so it is a bit away from the main road noise. We have English medium classes, so there is a lot of focus on getting the children to speak clearly and learn their grammar. The classrooms are filled with wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. You can see where students have carved their names or doodled in the corners. We try to keep things organized, but with so many kids running around, there is always a bit of a mess by the end of the day. Our staff is mostly local people who live nearby, so we see the parents at the grocery store or the market. It makes the school feel more like a big family. We don't have a giant sports field, but the kids find ways to play cricket in the smaller spaces we have. During the rainy season, the playground gets a few puddles, and we have to keep the kids from jumping in them. It is just a regular school where we spend our days teaching and making sure the children are safe and learning. Nothing too fancy, just the basics done right here in this part of Aurangabad-Maharashtra.
