Shivgaon is not a big place, so most folks already know where Ganesh stays. We use a part of his house and a small office space for our meetings. There are always sacks of things lying around or someone coming in to ask a question about their seeds. We don't have a lot of equipment. Just some desks and chairs that have seen better days. It gets very hot in Vaijapur, especially in the afternoons. We usually have tea together while we discuss what to do next for the season. It is not like the big city offices you see on TV. Everything here is simple and a bit slow. We write things down in notebooks. Sometimes we have to travel out to see the fields, but this house is where we meet. Being in Shivgaon means we are close to the people we work with every day. It makes sense for us to be here. We just go about our business day by day.
