This is Sahwas Mahila Farmers Producer Company Limited, and we are based out of Borgaon Arj in the Sillod area. Our main point of contact is at Shri Uttam Sampat Thombre’s place. It’s an interesting setup because it’s a group focused on the women farmers in our village. In this part of Aurangabad, women do a huge amount of the work in the fields, but they don't always get to make the big decisions. We wanted to change that a bit. So, we started this company to give everyone a voice. It’s located in 431135, a place where agriculture is the main thing everyone talks about. We aren't a corporate office with fancy computers. We usually meet on porches or in the common areas of the village to discuss our plans. Farming here is a family affair, and this company reflects that. We deal with all the usual stuff like seeds, harvest, and finding buyers who won't cheat us. It’s a lot of work on top of running a household, but the women here are tough. We don't have a lot of extra money for decorations or big signs. The house in Borgaonarj is where we gather to sign papers and keep track of things. It’s just a group of local women trying to do better for their families. It’s honest and sometimes a bit disorganized, but we are making it work. We just take it day by day and help each other out.
