Our company is Rohilacrop Agritech Farmer Producer Company Limited, and we are based in Rohila village. This is part of the Kannad area in Aurangabad. Our contact point is Gorakh Bhaurao Shelar’s house, which is number 25. We are just a bunch of local guys who have been farming this land for as long as we can remember. We don’t have a big marketing budget or any fancy offices. Everything we do happens right here in the village. We started this producer company because it’s easier to handle things as a group than by yourself. Most of our days are spent out in the sun, making sure the crops are doing okay and getting enough water. When we do get together at house 25, it’s usually to figure out our next steps for the coming season. It’s a simple, honest way of living. We aren’t trying to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one. We are just farmers. Sometimes the rain is late and sometimes the prices are low, but we just keep working the land. We know the soil here in Rohila and we know what it takes to grow things in this climate. Our company is just a tool to help us manage our work a bit better. We don't have a lot of polished words for what we do. It’s just about the crops and the hard work that goes into them every single day.
