You’ll find us at 1891-G on the road between Phulambri and Khultabad. This is in the Aurangabad area of Maharashtra. We are the Parmanand Farmers Producer Company Limited. Our group is made up of farmers from the surrounding villages. We’ve been working this land for a long time. We decided to come together as a company so we could manage our harvests better. It’s quite a busy road we are on, but we spend most of our time in the fields back behind the houses. We aren't a big corporation with lots of money. We’re just local people who know how to grow crops in this climate. Sometimes the weather is on our side, and sometimes it isn’t. We use our little office on the main road to coordinate everything. We talk about what seeds to buy and where to sell our produce. It’s very practical and down-to-earth work. We don't have a fancy marketing department or anything. We just rely on our hard work and our neighbors. Everyone here contributes what they can. We focus on the daily tasks of farming and making sure we can keep going year after year. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. If you’re driving down the road towards Khultabad, you’ll likely see us. We’re just trying to make a living like everyone else around here. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it and we keep at it.
