Mukteshwarnik Agritech Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Hasankheda, which is part of the Kannad taluka. Our base is at House Number 26, the home of Dnyaneshwar Fakirchand Jagatap. We chose the name because it means something to us locally, and adding "Agritech" shows we are trying to use better methods for our farming. Even though the name sounds a bit technical, we are just local folks working from a house in the village. There is no corporate lobby or fancy sign here. We sit in the main room or out on the porch to talk about what the farmers need for the next season. Being in the 431103 area, we are surrounded by fields, so we are always close to the actual work. Our days are filled with phone calls to buyers and meetings with the local growers who are part of our group. It’s a lot of responsibility to handle everyone’s produce, but we do our best. Dnyaneshwar’s house is a well-known spot in Hasankheda, so it's not hard to find us if you need to talk. We don't have a website or any glossy advertisements. Most of our members joined because they know us personally. We are just trying to move forward and use some newer ideas to help the local agriculture in this part of Kannad. It’s a quiet life but the work is very important to everyone here. We just keep at it.
