In Charora, near Mustafabad, is where we mostly do our work. We're based at Ganga Singh Saini’s place. It isn't a large setup or anything fancy. Just a few of us farmers from around Aurangabad who decided to start this company. Most days we are out in the fields, but when we need to handle the business side, we meet up at the house. It gets quite hot here in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We don't have a big office with computers and all that. It’s just a simple room where we keep our books and talk about the crops. We focus on what the local guys are growing and try to figure out the best way to move it. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it, which makes everyone a bit stressed. We started this because doing everything alone was just getting too difficult for most of us. There is always someone dropping by the village to ask about seeds or what the current market rates are. We try to keep things straightforward. No complicated talk, just a lot of conversation and some old-fashioned record-keeping. It’s a quiet life in Charora, but harvest time changes everything. Then it gets really busy around Ganga Singh's spot. We’re just trying to make a living and keep our farms going for another year. Sometimes the roads are a mess, so getting things from place to place takes a while. We're just local folks who know the land.
