Khodegaonkar Agrotech Producer Company Limited

So we are Khodegaonkar Agrotech Producer Company Limited and we mostly work out of Khodegaonkar near Aurangabad. Our main spot is over at Shri Tukaram Gavaji’s place. It’s a busy area and there’s always something happening with the crops or the machines. We started this because we realized that doing things as a group makes more sense than trying to handle the markets and the transport all by ourselves. Around here in the 431001 zip code area, everyone knows everyone else, so we spend a lot of time just talking to the neighbors about what they are planting this season. It’s not fancy, and our office is really just where we keep the folders and take a break from the sun. The dirt under our fingernails tells you more about us than any piece of paper could. We have seen some tough years with the water being low, but we keep at it because that is what we do. It’s a lot of long hours, sometimes starting before the birds are even awake. We try to help each other out with seeds or advice when someone is struggling. It’s just how things are done in our part of Aurangabad. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to make sure the families here can keep their land and get something for their effort. It’s practical work for practical people. We don't mind the long days as long as the work gets done.
