Kesarabai Rangnath Farmer Producer Company Limited

This little operation, Kesarabai Rangnath Farmer Producer Company Limited, is based out of Shivna in the Sillod Taluka. We are located at the house of Ranganath Supduat. Aurangabad is the bigger district we fall under, but Shivna is where the actual day-to-day happens for us. It is a farmer producer setup, so you can imagine what our schedules look like. Most of the time, we are thinking about the soil and what the rains are going to do. Being in a place like Sillod means we are right in the middle of a lot of farming activity. We don't have a big corporate building or a receptionist. It is just a bunch of us working from a local address to get our produce sorted and handled. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we manage. Ranganath’s place is where we meet up to discuss what is going on with the crops and how to help the farmers who are part of this group. It is pretty straightforward work. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the task at hand here in the village. It is a local thing, through and through. Life moves at a different pace in this part of Aurangabad, and we like it that way. We are just trying to stay organized and keep the farmer producer company running so it benefits the people living right here in Shivna.
