We are mostly just farmers from around the Shivrai area here in Vaijapur. Harisiddhi Farmer Producer Companylimited started because we wanted to do things together instead of everyone just struggling on their own small piece of land. Most of our meetings happen at Gayabai Dattatraya Bhalerao’s place, which is where the address is listed. It is not some fancy glass building, just a regular home in the village. This part of Aurangabad can be quite dry sometimes, and we all know how the weather can be a real headache. We grow whatever the season allows and try to figure out how to get our produce to the market without losing too much money to the middle people. It is a simple setup. Some of us have been farming for twenty years, others are just starting out with their father's land. We talk about seeds, we talk about the borewell levels, and we try to help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks down or the labor is hard to find. It is a local thing for local people. We aren't trying to be some big national brand or anything like that. We just want to make sure our families can eat and the next generation has something worth keeping. Working together under this name just makes sense for us in this corner of the district. We keep it practical and honest. We don’t have any fancy offices, just the soil and our seeds.
