If you are looking for us, we are based out of Shri Prushtom H Joshi’s house, which is house number 15 in Gadhepipalgaon. It is a quiet spot in the Vaijapur area. Guru Mangaldas Baba Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name we use for all our official stuff, but mostly we are just farmers from this part of the district. We realized a while back that trying to sell our stuff individually was getting us nowhere. So, we started meeting up at the house to talk about how we could do things better as a group. It isn't always easy because everyone has their own way of doing things, but we make it work. The office is just a room in the house where we keep the files and talk to people who come by. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that usually gives farmers a headache. Whether it is seeds or getting the tractor fixed, there is usually someone around here who knows how to help. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, it’s just tea and talk about the weather or the current market rates. Being in a place like Gadhepipalgaon means we are a bit far from the big cities, so we have to stick together. It's practical stuff, honestly. We focus on the daily tasks and try to make sure everyone gets their fair share when the harvest is finally sold.
