Gayai Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Sirsagaon, which is in the Gangapur area. Our official spot is at Gut No 157, near Post Malunja, and we use Laxman Murlidhar Bhusare’s place for our operations. We are a group of farmers who grew up around here, knowing these roads and these fields like the back of our hands. Farming is what we know, but the business side of it was always a bit of a mystery to us. That’s why we formed this company. We wanted to understand the market better and see if we could get a better deal for our produce. It is hard work, and Laxman’s place is often full of people arguing about the best way to do things. We grow mostly seasonal crops, and we try to share our tools and our knowledge so nobody gets left behind. The address at Sirsagaon is just a regular spot in the village, nothing fancy at all. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us covered in dust from the fields. We started this because we had to. Prices were low, and costs were going up. Being a producer company lets us buy in bulk and sell in bulk. It is a practical solution to a problem we all faced. We are just taking it one day at a time and hoping for rain.
