Gautala Valley Farmers Producer Companylimited is based in Shelgaon, which is near Dahigaon in the Kannad taluka. We are part of the Aurangabad district, near the beautiful Gautala area. Our office is a simple place in the village where we handle all our company business. We didn’t want to go into the big city because our roots are right here with the farmers. It's a group effort, and everyone puts in what they can. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big corporate structure. It's mostly just us sitting around a table, going over the numbers and planning for the next harvest. The work is steady but it isn't always easy. We deal with whatever comes our way, whether it's transport issues or market changes. Being in Shelgaon keeps us close to the fields and the people who actually do the hard work. We keep our books in order, but the office definitely feels like a lived-in space. There are usually bags of samples or maps of the local farms lying around. We aren't looking to impress anyone with a fancy title. We just want to provide a way for the local community to work together more effectively. It’s a practical, local operation and we’re proud to be part of the village life here in Kannad.
