In the Godhvari Colony area of Gangapur, we have Garava Agro Farmers Producer Companylimited. Our address is House Number 116. It’s a regular neighborhood in Aurangabad, not some industrial zone. We set this up because we wanted to have more control over how we sell our produce. Most of us live nearby and have our land scattered around the outskirts of the town. You’ll often find a few of us sitting around at the house, drinking tea and looking over the lists of what’s been harvested. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. We just talk to the people we know and try to find the best way to move our goods. The heat in Aurangabad can be pretty intense, so we try to get most of our heavy work done early in the day. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in being a formal company, and honestly, none of us really enjoys that part, but it’s necessary to grow. We focus on what’s growing in the dirt, whether it’s vegetables or grains. We listen to each other and try to figure out solutions when a crop isn't doing well. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We are just local people trying to make a living from the land we’ve always known. It’s a messy, busy, and honest way to spend our time together as a group.
