Gajdeep Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at the home of Samadhan Sirsath in Pimpalgaon Peth. We are right here in the Aurangabad district, living the same life as everyone else in the village. We are not a big company with lots of employees. It is just us, the local farmers who have lived here forever. We decided to form this producer company because we were tired of being at the mercy of the big markets. By working together, we can buy what we need in bulk and hopefully find better places to sell our produce. We do not have a fancy office building. We just use Samadhan’s house as our meeting spot. We sit out there and talk about the price of diesel or the lack of rain. It is all very informal, but we get the work done. Most of our days are spent out in the sun, making sure the plants are healthy. We do not have a lot of time for corporate talk or marketing fluff. We just want to make sure our farms stay profitable so we can keep our land. Pimpalgaon Peth is a small place, and we like it that way. Everyone knows who we are and what we do. We are just a group of friends and neighbors trying to make the most of what we have through honest work and a bit of cooperation.
