Ecchashakti Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at 314 Nimbhora in Kannad. The name of our group stands for willpower, and that is definitely something we need every day out here. We are a small association of local growers from around the 431103 area. Farming isn't what it used to be, and it’s getting harder for a single person to manage everything. So, we decided to join up. Our office in Nimbhora is a modest space where we do our bookkeeping and have our little meetings. It’s often a bit disorganized and smells like the fields, but that’s because we spend most of our time outside. We aren't business experts; we are farmers first. We deal with whatever crops are in season, like cotton or grains. It’s a lot of trial and error as we figure out the best way to run the company side of things. Sometimes we have long days where nothing seems to go right. But then we sit down together and figure out a plan. We aren't looking for any awards. We just want to make sure that the people in our village can keep their farms and support their families. It is a tough life, but it is the one we know.
