Doifoda Farmer Producer Company Limited is located right here in the village of Doifoda, in the Sillod area of Aurangabad. We operate out of Gut Number 69. It’s a real rural setting, which is exactly where a farmer producer company should be. Most of us grew up here and have been working these fields since we were kids. Setting up this company was a way for us to stick together. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of what we do is just talking to each other and figuring out the best way to sell what we grow. The office is just a simple building on the plot. It’s usually dusty because of the tractors passing by, but that’s fine with us. We aren't trying to look like a city business. We’re just farmers trying to get a better handle on the business side of things. Sometimes the market prices aren't great, and we have to sit down and have some long meetings at G. No. 69 to decide what to do next. It’s a lot of trial and error, honestly. We learn as we go. People around Sillod know us as the Doifoda group. We aren't looking for fame, just a way to make sure our families are taken care of. It’s hard work, but it’s ours. We’re proud to be based right here where we work and we wouldn't have it any other way.
