Devhare Patil Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Parala, over in the Vaijapur area of Aurangabad. We operate out of Shravan Borde’s place. If you are familiar with this part of Maharashtra, you know the soil here can be stubborn. Shravan has been part of the community for a long time, so it made sense to start things there. We are just a group of local farmers who felt that working as one group was better than struggling alone. We do not really use fancy words to describe what we do. It is just farming. We wake up early, check on the fields, and then meet up to talk about the business side of things. Aurangabad can get incredibly hot in the summer, which makes the work even tougher, but we are used to it. The name Devhare Patil comes from the local families involved. We are not trying to sell anyone on a dream; we are just trying to get our crops to the right places. Most of our days are spent talking about fertilizers, tractors, and the local market rates. It is a practical life and we do not have much time for anything else. We are just regular people trying to keep the traditions of Parala alive while making a bit of a living from the land. There is always a lot to do, and we just take it one day at a time without much fuss.
