Bpv Farmer Producer Company Limited is a local group we started to help out the folks around here. We work out of Shri Bhagvan Punjajikarkin's place. The address is quite simple, just under his name in the 431105 area. We don't have a big storefront or a lobby, just a place where we can sit down and talk about the farming business. Most of us spend our days out in the sun, so coming into the shade to look at the books is a nice change of pace. Bhagvan is usually there to help coordinate everything for the group. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation; we just want to make sure the local producers are getting a fair shake for their hard work and the long hours they put in. It gets quiet in our part of the world, which is fine by us. There's plenty of work to do with the soil and the seasons without worrying about city noise or traffic. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours just trying to figure out the best way to move the produce to the buyers without losing money. It’s a group effort, and everyone puts in what they can. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just get up, go to work, and try to keep the Bpv company running so it benefits the people who actually grow the food. It is a slow process, but we are making progress every single day together as a community.
