We are right in the middle of Aurangabad district, where the farming culture is very strong. Our building is just a standard house that we use for our meetings and keeping our records. The address is 431115 and it is a place where we spend most of our waking hours. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. Instead, we have a room with some tables and a lot of ledgers. People from Bhokargaon stop by all the time, often just to chat about how the cotton or the grain is doing this year. We spend a lot of time outside, looking at the fields and talking to the men and women who do the hard work. Vaijapur can be a tough place to farm when the water is low, so we spend a lot of time thinking about that. There is nothing very polished about how we run things. We make mistakes sometimes with the scheduling, and the office can get a bit messy with all the files, but we are real people. It is a community effort here.
