At Thergaon in the Paithan area, we have the Annapurneshwar Agritech Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s run out of Datta Bapurao Kale’s place. We are just a bunch of farmers from around Aurangabad who want to make things a bit easier for ourselves. Agriculture is all we’ve ever done. Some days are good, and some days are really tough when the crops fail. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just want to grow our crops and sell them without losing too much money. By working together as a producer company, we can share some of the burden. We help each other with advice on what is growing well and where to get the best supplies. It’s a small, local operation. We don’t have an HR department or anything like that. If there’s a problem, we just sit down and talk it out. The paperwork is a bit of a headache, but we manage. Most of us are more comfortable with a plow than a pen. We are proud of our land and the work we do. We don't try to look like a big city company. We are just villagers trying to make sure our families are okay and the village stays productive. That is our daily life here in Thergaon. We keep our boots on the ground.
