Amrutkalyan Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Aurangabad, at Shop Number 8 in the Anandcomplex, which is in the N-6 M-Sector. Being in a city complex like this helps us stay connected to the traders and the larger market. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s where all the decisions are made. We have been working with farmers from the surrounding rural areas to bring their goods into the city. It’s a lot of logistics, figuring out which truck is coming when and where the produce needs to go. We deal with all kinds of stuff, from grains to whatever else is in season. The office is usually a bit messy with papers and samples of crops lying around. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what we are about. We are just here to do a job and make sure the farmers get their payments on time. It is a busy environment with people coming in and out of the complex all day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with people at the shop to talk about prices. It’s a straightforward business without any hidden agendas. We just want to see the local agriculture do well so everyone can have a better life. It’s tiring work, and there are always new rules to learn, but we just take it one step at a time and keep going.
