The road can be a little dusty when the big trucks go past, especially during the dry season. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time. It's an honest place where we focus on the daily tasks at hand. There’s no big sign with lights, just the usual gate and the sounds of the industrial estate. Inside, it’s mostly functional. We have our storage areas and the office part where the phone rings more than we’d like. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day you might be checking inventory and the next you’re helping with paperwork. We don’t really do the corporate talk thing. We just talk like regular people because that’s who we are. Being behind J. P. Industries makes it easy for people to find us once they know the landmark. We’ve got a small area for tea breaks which is where most of the actual talking happens. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We take care of the stuff that needs doing and try to keep the place organized. Every day is pretty much the same, but that consistency is what keeps things running smoothly for us. We generally just stay late enough to get the work done.
