Annavaram Granites

Our place is located over at 15-12-8-1 on 2nd Road in Sanjeeva Nagar. Living and working in Tadapatri means dealing with the sun and a lot of stone. At Annavaram Granites, we spend most of the morning unloading slabs and organizing the yard. It is heavy work, and by noon, the heat really starts to kick in. This part of Sanjeeva Nagar is mostly quiet, but you hear the sound of stone being moved around our lot. We keep things pretty simple here. There are no big offices or air-conditioned waiting rooms, just the space where we keep the granite and a small desk for the paperwork. The 2nd Road can be a bit narrow when the big trucks come in to drop off materials, so we have to be careful about where we park things. Most of our neighbors are also local folks running their own small shops or living in the houses nearby. We have been in this spot for some time, and it feels like home now. Sometimes the days feel long when there isn't much wind, but we just keep at it. Usually, we finish up around evening and lock the gates. It’s not a complicated life, just handling the stone and making sure the counts are right. People who come by usually know exactly what they are looking for, so we do not have to talk too much. The day ends when the sun sets over Tadapatri.
