Hanifa English Medium School

Our school, Hanifa English Medium School, is based in Borsad, which is part of the Anand district. It’s a busy town and we are right in the middle of things. Being an English medium school in this area means we have a specific role to play. We have a lot of students who are trying their best to learn a second language, and it’s a process that takes a lot of time and effort. The school building is large and has many classrooms to accommodate all the different grades. It’s not a modern glass building; it’s a solid, practical structure that has stood the test of time. We have a playground where the kids play cricket and other games during their breaks. The staff room is always full of teachers talking about their lessons or marking stacks of papers. We don't have a fancy promotional team or a glossy brochure. People know us because we’ve been here in Borsad for a long time. We focus on the everyday teaching and making sure the kids follow the rules. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out, or the rain makes a mess of the grounds. It’s just the reality of running a school here. We are just a local institution in the 388540 area, doing our part for the community every day with what we have and working hard.
