Rinchhpagor Madhyamik Shala

Rinchhpagor Madhyamik Shala is right in the heart of Limkheda, over in the Dahod district. It is a secondary school that has been serving the local community for a long while now. Being in Dahod, we see a lot of students who come from quite far away, sometimes walking long distances just to get to their classes. The school itself is a sturdy building, though it definitely looks like it has seen a lot of history. We have a lot of noise coming from the streets of Limkheda sometimes, but the students are used to it. Inside, it is just rows of desks and teachers trying to explain things over the sound of the fans. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or high-tech stuff, just the basics like books, maps, and blackboards. The courtyard is where everything happens, from morning prayers to the kids eating their tiffins. It gets pretty crowded during the break times, but that is part of the charm of a local school. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders; we are more concerned with making sure the roof doesn’t leak when the monsoon hits. It is a very practical sort of place where everyone knows everyone else. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the kids have a place to study and grow up together. It isn't anything special to look at, but it’s an important part of life here in Limkheda.
