Shree Swami Vivekanand High School

Shree Swami Vivekanand High School is located in Pandad within the Anand district. We have students coming in for their higher classes from the surrounding villages. The school building is a sturdy one but it has been around for many years. We have classrooms for different subjects and a small area for sports and activities. It’s not a place with a lot of money for fancy things or expensive renovations. We just try to make sure there are enough chairs and desks for everyone who shows up. The teachers stay busy with the syllabus and exams throughout the term. You can find us easily if you are in Pandad. Most of the people around here have had someone from their family study with us at some point. It’s a local institution that has been here a long time. We don't have a big office or a reception desk with a phone that never stops ringing. It is more about the daily routine of classes and learning. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows for some air and keep going. Life here is simple and the school reflects that. We just want the students to finish their studies and find a good path for themselves. Every year a new batch leaves and a new one arrives. We keep going like that. It is just a regular high school doing its part in this corner of Anand.
