Swaraj International School

Swaraj International School is located out on Mehta Road in the Vallah area of Amritsar. It’s a bit of a drive from the very center of the city, but that makes it a bit quieter for the kids. We have been running things here for several years. The building is simple and we try to keep the grounds tidy. Most of the families who send their children here live nearby in the 143001 area. We have teachers who have been with us for a long time and they know the local kids well. It's just a regular school where we focus on the daily lessons. We don't have those massive fancy posters or anything like that. Just desks, books, and a playground. Sometimes the bells don't ring exactly on time, but we get through the day. Parents often stop by the gate to chat with us when they drop their kids off in the morning. It feels more like a community than a big institution. We just do our best to make sure the kids are learning what they need to. You can see the school from Mehta Road as you pass by. We have some trees around the perimeter which give a bit of shade in the summer months. It's just a place for learning and growing up, nothing more and nothing less.
