Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Public School

Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Public School is located on the G T Road in Amritsar. Being on such a major road means we are right in the middle of all the action. You can hear the buses and trucks honking all day long. It is a very busy area. The school has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. We have a lot of students, and the building is usually buzzing with activity. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy website. Most of what we do is just day-to-day teaching. We have the usual subjects and the usual classrooms. The teachers are busy with their lessons and we are busy keeping the place running. Amritsar is a big city, but this school feels like its own little community. We see the same parents every day and we have watched many kids grow up here. We don't have any big promises or fancy slogans. We just open the gates in the morning and do our best to get through the curriculum. There is always something to fix or a room that needs cleaning. It is a lot of work to manage so many students in such a busy location. When the final bell rings, the whole place clears out fast as everyone heads back to their homes across the city. It is a very typical, honest way to run a school. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
