Sacred Institute

If you head down Race Course Road in Basant Avenue, you’ll find us tucked away near Marble House. Sacred Institute has been at this number 1 spot for quite some time now. It’s a decent area of Amritsar, a bit more open than the old city parts. We have a couple of rooms where we set up the chairs and tables. It isn't anything too flashy, just a place where students can come and get their work done without too many distractions. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which helps when we are trying to explain something complicated. We usually start our day around ten, getting things ready before the afternoon rush. There’s always a bit of dust on the window sills because of the road outside, but we try to keep it tidy. We don't have a massive staff, just a few people who know their subjects well. Sometimes parents stop by just to chat about how things are going. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of the time, we are just busy grading papers or looking over the next chapter. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up during the breaks. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We don’t make big promises; we just provide the space and the time for students to sit down and actually read their textbooks. It’s honest work and we like the routine of it. We just keep things moving along.
